Wedding Card Goes Green

wah wah my time is positively fulfilled these days. techically running around town, intertwining work stuff & wedding stuff. really, the time came for me already. back in June i witnessed my friend Linda running around and about for her wedding stuff. July, it was Zam. October was Ijan. now that they have peacefully settlled down, it’s my turn to play the drama.

currently in the midst of circulating invitations. a bit too near to the event i know. i’m a bit behind schedule, really.

so here’s the card in question. made of 100% recycled paper, very environmental friendly. self-designed.

p.s.:  oh really, i’m pretty much a Green person. i love everything re-usable and recycleable. hehe.

‘Happy’ Birthday?

birthday today? yes.

a free cupcake i got from Windows 7 launching at Low Yatt Plaza on 7th Nov – because i have a number seven on my birth date. hooray!

happy day? God knows.

seventeenth of november, seventeen day to the wedding.

knackered. feel like running away. eyes allergic to contact lenses. need to wear my unbalanced glass.

have to bare walking around town being Cikgu Bedah Cermin Mata Senget.

bare with it. oh boy.

thank you mak & ayah for raising me up.

Ya Allah please i can’t take these all anymore. please lead me to the better. for those things i did wrong, give me a room to mend. mend them all. give me rooms. i’m already lifeless. limp.

this nice vase from Ikea should help. uh maybe no.

Remembering Good Old Days

this person in question is my old neighbour. we literally grew up together – what with him joining us the girls playing masak-masak, rollerblading together a good few kilometres from home, squeezing ourselves in the old Bas Mini nombor 25, exchanging books, gossiping hoh yeah!, and everything else a brother and sister could enjoy together.

he was one of the reasons for my Good Old Days, together with Jugha, Yaty, Jijie, Bitt, Lily and the rest of the clan. gosh i missed those days when climbing trees is a must-have skills, for boys and girls alike.

today saw another reason to look back to those Good Old Days. i’m really that mellow when it comes to my Good Old Days i could cry. oh boy.

here’s some of the best episodes during those Good Old Days:

- masak megi dalam longkang depan rumah pastu ramai-ramai rebut makan megi tu dalam periuk, pakai tangan.

- lepak dengan Jugha atas pokok ceri depan surau dan sembang macam la kat bawah tu takde bangku (Jugha is my best friend).

- naik basikal chopper Bitt 6 orang sekali.

- main jongkang-jongket – sebelah sini 5-6 orang, sebelah sini sorang. yang 5-6 orang tu hentak kuat-kuat so nanti yang sorang tu melambung tinggi di udara. kitorang gilir-gilir.

- sediakan moreh waktu orang sembahyang tarawikh kat surau lepas tu makan macam la kitorang yang tarawikh 20 rakaat.

- main masak-masak depan rumah, bawah pokok akasia yang bapak Zamani tanam lepas tu Zamani join eh apsal kau je sorang laki tapi bagus gak kau boleh jadi bapak dan gi beli ‘makanan’ dan kitorang yang mak dan anak ni tunggu je kat ‘rumah’.

- naik basikal konvoi ramai-ramai pusing Taman Nirwana.

- jalan kaki dengan Jugha dari depan Sekolah Aminuddin Baki sekolahku yang terchenta sampai Taman Nirwana waktu tengah hari punya panas tapi rilek je jalan sambil ghosip (ghosip kills your time hoh yeah) kalau kena kidnap sapa nak jawap.

- beramai-ramai beli ais krim Malaysia kat Nenek Rumah Panjang bila dah penat main selipar tiga atau rounders.

…and the list continues. those luxuries and friendship, i won’t trade for anything!

In Need of Backpack and Flip Flops

maybe i haven’t been persistent enough. maybe i’m too resilient, in a negative way. after all these years. after all that had happened, after all that have been happening.

or maybe it’s the surrounding that is getting rougher and tougher after each breath i take.

i don’t know anymore. i really don’t know. i kept looking for Square One, i kept going back to Square One. my Square One is so worn it will wreck soon, if i keep on going back there.

if i could, i would have grabbed my backpack and flip flops, and go. go and go. and go away from Square One.

I Love it When it Rains

i love it when it rains. it gives the sense of serenity to the atmosphere. it makes me feel refreshed.

good. especially at times like these. i just need to refresh.
